About Clementine

The same humans, every week. That's the whole model.

Clementine’s care teams are built around continuity. Every family gets a named clinical lead, a stable group of session staff, and a family coordinator who answers when you call. We hire slowly, train deeply, and retain hard - because the people doing the work matter as much as the methods they use.

  • Named care team for every family
  • Programs supervised by board-certified clinical leadership

Our Mission

Built around the kind of care we wished existed.

Clementine ABA started with one observation: too many families seeking ABA therapy for their child were getting bounced through call centers, waitlists, and rotating care teams before they ever saw a clinician.

That experience - confusing, slow, and impersonal during the hardest months of a family’s life - felt wrong to the clinicians and operations leaders who founded Clementine. Our team came together with a shared belief that families deserve a more responsive, transparent, and personal experience - one where clinical decisions are guided by each child’s needs and families remain at the center of the process.

So we built something different. A practice where the same names show up every week. Where insurance verification takes one business day, not one month. Where the clinician who writes your child’s treatment plan is the same clinician who walks through your front door for the first session. Where families are treated as the most important members of their child’s care team - because they are.

Clementine is deliberately small right now. We grow only as fast as we can hire well, train well, and supervise well. We will not be the biggest ABA practice in any state we serve. We aim to be the most trusted.

What we believe

Five stances we won't apologize for.

Most ABA practices talk in soft adjectives - “compassionate,” “individualized,” “evidence-based.” We use those words too, but they don’t tell you what we actually stand for. Below are five opinionated positions that shape every decision at Clementine - including how we hire the people who do the work.

  1. Therapy should fit a family's calendar, not the other way around.

We schedule around your routines - work shifts, school days, sibling drop-offs - not around our team's convenience. If the schedule does not work for your family, the therapy does not work either.

  2. Caregiver coaching is not an add-on. It's the program.

Children spend 100+ waking hours per week with family. If the strategies only work in 20 hours of therapy, progress is slow. Caregiver coaching is built into every Clementine session - never billed separately, never optional.

  3. The same humans, every week. Period.

Continuity is therapeutic. Rotating staff or revolving-door teams undermine the very trust that makes ABA work. We hire slowly and retain hard so your child sees familiar faces session after session.

  4. Insurance work belongs on our desk, not your kitchen table.

Verifying benefits, chasing prior authorizations, filing claims, appealing denials - these are our jobs, not yours. You should never see an EOB unless you ask for one.

  5. Honesty about what ABA can and cannot do.

ABA is not a cure. Autism is not something to be cured. We are upfront about what evidence-based ABA actually does - build communication, daily living, and self-advocacy skills - and what it does not.

By design, not by accident

We measure ourselves against the right numbers.

Many ABA practices brag about the size of their footprint. We’re focused on a different set of metrics - the ones that actually predict whether your child gets great care.

  • "1:1"
    Caregiver coaching
    Built into every session
  • 24 hr
    Benefits verification
Most families get a written answer in a day
  • ~4 wks
    First call to first session
Faster than the 6-month industry waitlist
  • 100%
    Clinically supervised
Every program designed and reviewed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We'll add more numbers as we grow - and we won't pretend to have ones we don't.

FAQ

Common questions about Clementine ABA.

The questions families ask most when they’re deciding whether Clementine is the right practice for their child - and who, exactly, will work with them.

Who we are

  • Are you a national chain or a local practice?

Clementine is an independent, family-centered practice - not part of a national chain or private-equity rollup. That’s deliberate. We grow slowly because we want to know every family we serve. See where we serve today.

  • How long have you been operating?

Clementine is a new practice. Our founders and clinical leaders bring decades of experience from larger autism-services organizations, but we started Clementine because we wanted to build something different from the inside out.

  • Why the name Clementine?

It’s warm. It’s recognizable. It signals what we want to be - a steady, citrus-bright presence in your child’s life.

Our care model & team

  • What makes Clementine different from other ABA providers?

We pair strong clinical supervision with operational habits that respect parents’ time - same care team every week, insurance handled for you, caregiver coaching baked into every session, and an honest 4-week onboarding timeline instead of a 6-month waitlist. See how a plan grows.

  • Will I always see the same people each session?

Yes - that’s the whole model. Every Clementine family is assigned a named clinical lead and a small, consistent group of session staff. We avoid the rotating-staff problem by hiring slowly and scheduling carefully. If a team member is out, we send someone your family has already met whenever possible.

  • Are your programs supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts?

Yes. Every child’s treatment plan is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). During the intake process, we’ll explain your child’s clinical team, how supervision works, and who will be involved in their care.

  • How are families involved in care?

Caregiver coaching is built into every session, every week. You’ll observe live therapy, learn the specific strategies your team is using, and have monthly sit-downs to review progress. The wins your child makes in session need to travel home - and that only happens with active parent involvement.

Working at Clementine

  • Are you hiring?

Yes - for BCBA’s, RBT’s, therapy team members, and family coordinators in the states we serve. We publish role-specific detail (caseload, supervision, training hours) on our careers page. We hire slowly, so reach out even if a path isn’t actively posted.

  • What's the work environment like?

Small teams, strong supervision, real continuity with families. We aim to be the kind of place where people can build a career in autism services without burning out - which means manageable caseloads, ongoing training, and a culture that takes clinical quality seriously.

  • Do you offer continuing education?

Yes. Ongoing CE, supervision hours for analysts pursuing certification, and a budget for external training are all part of working at Clementine. Growing our people is part of how we grow the practice.
